EW-2 Dual-seal Armored Cable Gland
The EW-2 double-sealed armored cable gland head is designed to ensure
good electrical contact between the shielding layer of shielded cables
and the equipment housing or electrical cabinet, considering the
electromagnetic interference between different electrical devices. It
achieves common grounding while ensuring a good protection level. The
EW-2 armored gland head features a bell-mouth design with clamping
components to protect the cable from the risk of damage or breakage due
to high bending. It allows armored cables to be directly inserted into
explosion-proof enclosures, luminaires, sockets, plugs, etc. They are
equipped with a sealing ring that extends onto the cable at the
entrance, ensuring compliance with "Ex db llCGb; Exeb llC Gb; Extb lllC
Db" certification and IP66/68 protection level. As a result, the cable
seal provides performance, long-term reliability, and safety, compatible
with a wide range of commercial primary cables and compliant with
applicable regulations.
