The main purpose of the gland cap produced by BON is to minimize the accumulation of dust or foreign objects on the cable sealing joint and at the joint connection. The standard gland cap is made of black PVC or PVP material. BON also offers gland caps made of low-smoke, halogen-free flame retardant materials in colors such as milky white, gray, black, blue, etc.
